What kind of clinic it is

New York Acupuncture Group is an evidence-based, integrative medicine practice built around a mechanism-first approach. We work from a physical assessment and treat the specific thing that is driving a problem, rather than sorting patients into categories. The focus areas are pelvic floor dysfunction, neuromuscular and orthopedic pain, headache and facial pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, and, increasingly, neurological-based disorders.

I co-founded the practice with Peter Caron, and we both see patients there. More on Peter's background is on the collaborators page.
